[ARCHIVED] Shelby County Citizens' University Starts February 2, 2017

The Shelby County Mayor's Office is now accepting applications for the next session of the Shelby County Citizens' University, February 2nd through April 27th.

"Citizens get a behind-the-scenes look at Shelby County Government and how their tax dollars are spent," says Shelby County Mayor Mark H. Luttrell, Jr.

The Twelve-week course will be held on Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at various county facilities.  February 2, 2017 - April 27 , 2017


 Presentations Include:
  • Mayor
  • Chief Administrative Officer
  • Administration and Finance
  • Information Technology
  • Community Services
  • Corrections
  • Health Department
  • Planning and Development
  • Public Works
  • Public Affairs
  • County Attorney/Public Defender/Divorce Referee
  • Office of Preparedness
  • Elected Officials (Trustee, County Clerk, Assessor, County Commission)
