Local Resources
Shelby County boasts many great parks and facilities throughout the area. Some of our featured facilities include, but are not limited to:
- Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park: Bordering the Mississippi River, two-thirds of this 13,467-acre park is hardwood forest. The park also contains two lakes and many miles of hiking trails.
- Shelby Farms Park Conservancy: Shelby Farms Park sits on 4,500 acres and includes several muti-use trails, a nature area,
an Agricenter International Expo Center, a farmers market, multiple lakes, horse stables, an amphitheater, and much more. - T.O. Fuller State Park: Encompassing a total of 1,138 acres, T.O. Fuller State Park has an abundance of flora and fauna. It is a great place to view area wildlife, bird watch, camp, or hike.
