Criminal Justice Liaison (CJL)

The Criminal Justice Liaison Program assists persons with mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and substance abuse disorders who have been referred. The client's attorney must send a referral to the Administrator for review before being assigned to a Liaison. Afterward, the Liaison conducts an assessment to determine the client's level of need. A Community Linkage Plan (CLP) is then developed which includes recommended treatment and services that the person is court-ordered to participate in while in the program. This program is designed to assist persons in being granted diversion or probation by the judge.
