District 13 East Memphis |
Chair Pro Tempore Brandon Morrison began her first term on the Shelby County Board of Commissioners on September 1, 2018, after being elected to represent District 13 on August 2, 2018.
Brandon was born and raised in Memphis, the second of four children. She graduated from St. Mary’s Episcopal School and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vanderbilt University with both her B.A and M.B.A.
She is currently the Family Office President of MBA Corporation. Other current positions include Board of Directors, Audit & Executive Committee with Adams Keegan, Her past positions include Board of Directors for Monogram Foods, and Research Analyst at area brokerage firms.
Brandon is married to Joseph Morrison, CFA. They are the proud parents of five adult children: Allison, Ruthie, Joe, Jane, and Murray. Rounding out the family are their three dogs: Annabelle, Gus, and Obi.
Commissioner Morrison’s other interests include floral design, gardening, reading, and running. She has participated in the St. Jude Half Marathon for several years.
