The Shelby County Health Department (Department), Pollution Control Section has received applications to construct or modify air contaminant sources at the following locations and of the following descriptions.  These permitting actions are not subject to the Prevention of Significant Air Quality Deterioration (PSD) requirements, as described in the Rules and Regulations of the State of Tennessee, Section 1200-3-9.01 (4)(a)2.

Initial Filing

Fortis Solutions Group
3967 Hickory Hill Road, Memphis
Requesting a permit to operate four flexographic printers.

Modification

Nucor Steel Memphis, Inc.
3601 Paul Lowery Road, Memphis
Requesting modification of the existing permit to include an increase in emissions due to installation of an emergency generator.

Lucite International, Inc.
2665 Fite Road, Memphis
Requesting a modification to existing permit for allowable SSM emission schedule emission point SA-1 in the sulfuric acid regeneration process (SAR).


A copy of the application materials used by the Department is available for public inspection at the Pollution Control Section office, during normal business hours (8:00 am – 4:30 pm).  Interested parties are invited to review these materials and provide written comments.  Written comments will be accepted for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the date of this public notice at the following address:

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Bryce Company, LLC has applied to the Shelby County Health Department (SCHD), Pollution Control Section, to renew their Title V major source operating permit. This facility is subject to the provisions of City of Memphis Code Section 16-77, [Reference Ru1es and Regulations of Tennessee, Rule 1200-3-9-.02 (11)], commonly referred to as the Title V major source operating permit regulations.  

The Bryce Company, LLC facility located at 4505 Old Lamar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. Operations at this facility consist primarily of the manufacture flexible packaging, which is used primarily in the snack food industry.  

A copy of the application materials and of the draft permit are available for public inspection at the Pollution Control Section office during normal business hours (8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Mon.-Fri.).  Interested parties are invited to review these materials and provide written comments.  In addition, a public hearing may be requested at which written or oral presentations may be made. To be considered, written comments or requests for a public hearing must be made within thirty (30) days after the date of this notice and should be addressed to:
