Immunization Program
The Immunization Program provides continuously updated information regarding recommended and required immunizations for children and adults, including vaccines needed for international travel. Education regarding immunizations for vaccine-preventable infectious diseases is the number-one concentration of this office.
Immunizations for Children
- Diphtheria
- Hemophilus (Meningitis)
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Measles

- Polio
- Rubella (German Measles)
- Tetanus (Lockjaw)
- Whooping Cough

Recommended Adult Immunizations
- Hepatitis A recommended for food handlers, child-care providers, and international travelers
- Hepatitis B vaccine
- Influenza (flu) and pneumonia immunizations given annually
- Measles, mumps, and rubella immunizations are recommended for anyone born after 1956 who have not been previously immunized
- Tetanus-Diphtheria boosters every 10 years
- Varicella (chickenpox) for any adult who has not had chickenpox
