Requirements
All vehicles registered within the Memphis city limits must pass inspection prior to registration. New vehicles are exempt the first time they are titled and registered.

Remember, you may come 90 days prior to the expiration of your registration to have the vehicle inspected. The report is valid for 90 days. Also, you do not need your renewal notice to have your vehicle inspected.
