Delivery Procedures
All Shelby County Division of Corrections (SCDC) inmates are permitted to order commissary items once per week. There are no restrictions as to the dollar amount they may purchase; however, there is a maximum of 40 items that may be purchased per week.

Commissary order forms are distributed to each housing location on the day prior to the weekly order day. All monies must be received and posted to the inmate's account prior to the commissary day in order for the order to be processed for the week. The processed orders are then delivered to the inmates on the following day at certain designated locations.

Inmates may purchase snacks, writing materials, cards, personal hygiene items, radios, batteries, reading glasses, and selected articles of clothing and footwear from the commissary. All inmates must present their ID at the time of delivery in order to receive their orders. Any inmate not having an ID will not receive their order.

Exceptions
All inmates who are housed in Building J and the isolation dorms in Women's Building have their commissary delivered to them in their housing dorms. Inmates who are in isolation are only permitted to receive personal hygiene items and writing materials.

Order Schedule
Commissary order days by building (housing location) are as follows:

• Monday - Buildings B, C, D, and E
• Tuesday - Adult Offender Center and Building P
• Wednesday - Buildings G, H, I, and J
• Thursday - Main Building and the Women's Building
