The Shelby County Grants Office (SCGO) represents Shelby County Government through communicating with federal, state and local government agencies as well as numerous local non-profit organizations regarding grant funding. Specifically, the SCGO is charged with overseeing the management and compliance of County grants. The SCGO exists to orchestrate grant operations throughout various stages of a grants lifecycle and includes providing technical assistance and compliance reviews.
The first release of Shelby County’s Grants Policies and Procedures manual was made available in June 2012. Version 2 is scheduled to be released on December 13, 2012. The Grants Office hosted its first set of webinars entitled Streamlining Shelby County Grants in December 2012. We want to thank everyone who participated in these sessions.
