The Shelby County Grants Office (SCGO) represents Shelby County Government through communicating with federal, state and local government agencies as well as local non-profit organizations in regard to grant funding. Specifically, the SCGO is charged with overseeing the management and compliance of County grants and exists to assist with grant operations throughout a grant's life cycle, including the acknowledgment and acceptance of a grant award, legislation to appropriate and expend funds, grant fund management, providing technical assistance, and compliance reviews.
The second version of Shelby County’s Grants Policies and Procedures manual was released in December 2012. All Shelby County Government staff who coordinate or manage a grant project shall review the Shelby County Grants Office Policy and Procedure Manual - Version 2, located on the Grants Resource Catalog link, then sign and scan the acklowledgment form to

The Grants Office hosted its first set of webinars entitled Streamlining Shelby County Grants in December 2012. We want to thank everyone who participated in these sessions.
