Effective January 1, 2013, Aetna Life Insurance Company will became County’s Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD) insurance carrier. The rates are $0.48 per $10 multiple for the 50% benefit option, and $0.50 per $10 multiple for the 60% benefit option.

NOTE: Employees will only be able to enroll in short term disability (STD) during the annual open enrollment period. Employees will not be allowed to enroll throughout the year, unless there is a qualifying event.

You may enroll or cancel this plan during open enrollment only by completing an Aetna enrollment/change form.
