Members of the Center City Revenue Finance Corporation serve six-year terms and consist of:

• Four members appointed by Shelby County mayor (confirmed by Shelby County Commission)
• Four members appointed by mayor of Memphis (confirmed by Memphis City Council)
• One member jointly appointed by both mayors (approved by the Memphis City Council and Shelby County Commission)

Functions & Authority
The Center City Revenue Finance Corporation is a joint commission with the City of Memphis and Shelby County. It's responsibilities include authorizing the acquisitions, ownership, lease, and disposal of properties primarily in the downtown Memphis area. The purpose of this commission is to maintain and increase employment opportunities by promoting commerce, industry, recreation, tourism, and trade.
