Each year, the gallant and graceful equestrian legacy of Germantown comes to life in the Germantown Charity Horse Show held in June. This five-day event is the largest, all-breed show in the United States, drawing some 700 horses. Germantown residents also enjoy the grace and style exhibited in fine arts, and strongly support local theater productions, an orchestra and community chorus. Germantown is home to the state-of-the-art $4.3 million, 800-seat, Germantown Performing Arts Centre which has featured artists from Bob Newhart to Yo-Yo Ma to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
