The Chief Administrative Officer is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of County Government. These functions consist of various services to the citizens of Shelby County including housing, fire protection, budget, roads & bridges, public health, correctional facilities and land use for which the County Mayor is responsible. This office is also responsible for providing improved methods to deliver these services to the citizens of Shelby County.
