Land Use Control Board
SELECTION PROCESS: 5 members appointed by the County Mayor, and one ex-officio member is the Chief Administrative Officer or designee.

5 members appointed by the City Mayor, and one ex-officio member is the Chief Administrative Officer or designee.

Members confirmed by the County Commission and the City Council.

In even years, the County Mayor appoints the Chairman and the City Mayor appoints the Vice Chairman.

In odd years, the City Mayor appoints the Chairman and the County Mayor appoints the Vice Chairman.

Ex-officio -- 2
Total -- 12.
FUNCTION & AUTHORITY: To oversee and guide the orderly growth of the City and County through zoning. The board hears and makes decisions on all zoning requests.
TERMS OF MEMBERS: 3 years.
