Deidre Malone is President and CEO of the Carter Malone Group, a public relations and marketing firm in Memphis. Before starting the business, she worked for more than ten years at ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, most recently as Vice President of Marketing Development and has invested over 12 years in marketing, public relations and advertising. Before St. Jude she worked as a News Producer at WMC-TV Channel 5, a news reporter and anchor for WMC Radio and Public Affairs Director at WLOK Radio Station.
Deidre is very active in the Memphis community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Memphis Housing Authority, Memphis in May International Festival, Ronald McDonald House and most recently as Chairman of the Shelby County 911 Emergency Management System. She is a 1999 graduate of Leadership Memphis and is president of the Leadership Memphis Alumni Association.
A 1983 graduate of Jackson State University, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications and is currently working on a Master of Business Administration Degree at Christian Brothers University.
Deidre and her husband, Dr. Patrick Malone, have two sons, Patrick II and Brian. |
