Welcome to the Shelby County Mayor's Assistance Center.  The mission of the Mayor's Assistance Center (MAC) is to make county government accessible to all citizens of Shelby County, Tennessee by promoting efficient and effective county services, handling individual citizen concerns and requests and encouraging community involvement and participation.

Overview of MAC Services

  • Coordinate responses and resolutions to community complaints through appropriate county departments and agencies.
     
  • Handle requests for county services, individual complaints/referrals and field investigations.
     
  • Partner with faith-based organizations, civic clubs, neighborhood associations, labor unions and locally owned small businesses to develop community involvement.
     
  • Coordinate town hall meetings and community events.
