Fight Back against the Disease

The most common way for people to get sick is by touching a contaminated surface then touching themselves in places where germs can enter the body. This can be the mouth, the nose or the eye.

Hands pick up germs through bathroom use; contact with other people or by touching an object that someone else has touched.

The greatest weapon against disease is frequent, thorough handwashing.

The proper way to wash hands:

bar of soap
Use soap, many brands have the word antibacterial" on the label.
washing hands
Scrub hands vigorously with soap for at least 10-15 seconds.
peeling potato
Wash before and after preparing food, especially raw meat, poultry, fish or eggs.
washing hands

Always wash before feeding a child or eating food yourself.
