The Department invites interested persons to submit written comments concerning these applications. Pennakem, LLC 3324 Chelsea Avenue, Memphis Requesting a permit to construct a new process producing Cyclobutyldiester. This process will modify emissions at two points: an ethanol scrubber vent and a methylterbutylether scrubber vent. Agenda items will include: Request for a variance by WM Barr and Company, 2015 Channel Avenue and 2170 Bouy Street for the Board to recognize the pending local regualtion change for the federal delisting of a hazardous air pollution (HAP), methyl ethyl ketone, which affects the permitting status of the two facilites. Request for a variance by the Valero-Memphis Refinery, 2385 Riverport Road, for the Board to recognize the pending rule change on the tank seal inspection schedule. A general update on the air quality in Shelby County. Other matters the Board deems necessary for the operation of the Air Pollution Control Program under the air pollution codes.
