Memphis, TN. -  Shelby County citizens have requested that Mayor Wharton make his Comcast cable talk shows available to all.  In response to this request, Shelby County has worked out an arrangement with Comcast for the County's website to host each monthly talk show 30 days after it airs on Comcast channels 30 and/or 78.

The 1-hour live call-in show ASK AC…YOUR VOICE IN COUNTY GOVERNMENT! is now online.  This segment featured The MED and aired on Thursday, January 3, 2008. The 30-minute taped show YOUR COUNTY CONNECTION! will be online next week.  This segment featured Shelby County Books from Birth and the Mayor's Assistance Center and aired on Thursday, February 7, 2008.

Surfing the Shelby County Government website, citizens can view entire talk show segments and email questions and/or provide feedback to Mayor Wharton at publicaffairs@shelbycountytn.gov. Citizens can also research all services offered and initiatives under Mayor Wharton's Administration and find information from all elected officials within County government.

Shelby County now brings your County government to your home, 24 hours a day…7 days a week.
