Memphis, TN. - Kenneth S. Robinson, M.D., Shelby County Health Officer and Yvonne Madlock, Director of the Memphis and Shelby County Health Department announced today the arrival of additional H1N1 vaccine in the form of flu shots and Flu Mist. 3,000 doses of injectable vaccine and 500 doses of Flu Mist were received. The vaccine will be provided to the following individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Children ages six months to four years of age.
- Pregnant women.
- Parents, siblings and daycare providers who live with or provide care for infants less than six months of age.
- Healthcare workers who have direct contact with patients.
For individuals in these priority categories, vaccine is available at no charge at the following Health Department clinics:
- Collierville Clinic, 167 Washington. Clinic Hours: 8-11 a.m. & 12:30-3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Phone: 854.6775.

The Health Department will continue to provide information regarding vaccine availability and the types of vaccine available. No shortage of H1N1 vaccine is expected.
