Shelby Farms Parkway Project
|
After years of discussion, park advocates, transportation planners and public officials are working together to design Shelby Farms Parkway. A 17 member Resource Team appointed by Mayor Wharton is guiding a context-sensitive design process that will result in a formal recommendation for the Parkway in early 2006. Shelby County residents are encouraged to participate in public meetings and workshops throughout the coming months, and to take an online survey. For more information contact Public Works at (901) 545-4266.
