Your department Human Resource representative will coordinate with AFLAC to come onsite for employees who wish to enroll or make changes to their coverage. Shelby County's Flexible Benefit Plan allows employee's contribution to be paid with pre-tax earnings/dollars. Therefore, an employee must remain in the ALFLAC program from January 1st through December 31st annually, unless there is a qualifying event/life style change in accordance with IRS guidelines.
